Influencer homework
I think influencer marketing can benefit a hotel in a way that for exemple hotel directors sometimes are at the image of his hotel. If the hotel director is friendly with his guest, welcoming everybody and being smily ... The staff might see him as an influencer of how the hotel must work, how the staff must welcome his guests and treat them.
An another exemple : Leonardo Di Caprio (the famous actor) is a strong defensor of the environment. He built a green hotel in an pacific island, he uses of its influence to convince hoteliers to change their way to see the hospitality industry. Trying to think about a sustainable tourism and hospitality business, based on eco friendly materials and practices.

Class exercise 28-11-15
I'm looking for an international experience in Sales, more especially in the hotel industry. A good sales director manages a property with his skills in revenue, marketing and communication and i think it is mandatory those days. My missions will be working for a brand with a proactively and working team, i would also like to develop the relationships between the hotel and its market. As a director of sales, my goal will be to make the property a strong and progressive brand over the years.

Cityhub - Amsterdam

- The reservation toolbar, very easy and simple to use (look like the airbnb reservation toolbar)
- The cabins are original, it is something between capsule hotels in Tokyo and traditionnal rooms
- The app controled light in the cabin is fun (multicolor, brightness)
- Digital front office (24h/7/7), software easier to use and so much faster rather a traditionnal check-in desk
- Self service bar where you can pay with a high tech bracelet, very ingenious
- One of the concept is "Meet our CityHosts. They'll be your BFF's." It teases generation C because they like to connect
with other people, meet new people and the cityhub concept facilitate it
